Tammy Morin

Face 857My name is Tammy morin & I’m 41yrs old. When I was in my early 20’s I was chopping wood when I suddenly felt a very painful pop in my lower back. I was literally paralyzed for some time. My husband picked me up & carried me into the ER. They performed many X-rays yet found nothing so they said. So we went home & for the next 2 weeks the only time I got out of bed was when my loving husband carried me to the rest room. Well for the next 20 years I did work part time because we needed the money yet I suffered tremendously. over time I was getting worse & more in pain. We searched for a doctor that would help me find out what was wrong with me, rather than just give me pills to cover up my pain. So many X-rays, MRI’s & blood work were performed. This is when I found out I had the HLA-B27+. We also found that I had many lower back issues, so surgery it was. At first I was only going  in for 2 reasons & for only 2hrs. But it ended up taking over 4hrs & for three reasons & here they are (1) L4-L5 decompressive laminectomy medial-facetectomy (2) L4-through SI posterior lateral fusion & (3) L4-L5 posterior segmental instrumentation. That’s right after ALL those years the bone between my lower back & pelvic was literally ” floating” is the word the doc used. We couldn’t believe it, the X-rays or MRI’s never picked that up, what a shocker. Now because that bone had been poking & rubbing up against my nerves for so long I have major damage of the nerves that go down my legs & feet. I also suffer from hip, wrist & shoulder pain.We also had our daughter checked for this disease & sure enough she also has it also & has been suffering for yrs with neck pain & severe migraines.  I have not been able to work for yrs now & do at times get very depressed but we pray daily for ALL who suffer with this debilitating disease that one day in the very near future, Gods kingdom will wipe out all pain!!!  Thank you for listening!
