A.S. Face 1738: Steph Bean
I have always had passion for horses since I was 7 and I am now 25 and owned my own since being 12. One day when I was 16 in July we was having a thunder storm and there was 2 horses out in the field who’s owners hadn’t come yet so me and another girl went to get them in. I got the pony and half way back to his stable he reared up, dragged me over and stood on my back and I was full of cuts all over my side arms and legs and a huge hemotoma on my back where he had stood on me. It wasn’t the ponies fault he was frightened. Ever since I had back problems and when I was 22 after years of Drs. appointments and different tablets I was finally diagnosed with AS. I still try and ride and own 2 horses one is the same one I have owned since I was 12. I try my best but I find it so difficult and on a lot of medication to try and help. I have good days but mostly bad but I try to keep going.
