A.S. Face 1260: Kirsta Sheridan
I have lived with back pain and other “odd” health issues since I was about 13. My family doctor who I started seeing at 12 once told me I should have been born a lab rat. It wasn’t until my mid 20’s that he finally referred me to a Rheumy. At that time I had an ANA of 1:80 speckled (if my memory is right) with no real diagnosis. At 39, I had a total hysterectomy due to my battle with endometriosis (which had metastasized all the way to my liver and my colon. It wasn’t until 2 years ago that I was Dx’d with Crohn’s, AS and another unknown autoimmune disease. I have arthritis in every joint of my body (of course), osteoporosis, osteopina, CAD, PHT, diverticulitis, SI joint issues, major brain fog (to the point my daughter is embarrassed to tell anyone I may need to be reminded), fatigue, etc. I have had a perodidectomy, been in liver and kidney failure and had cataract surgery in both eyes at 39. I have to sleep with a CPAP and O2. Oh, I am 45 years old but, wall like a 95 year old woman with a walker. Yes it is embarrassing.
