A.S. Face 1118: Heather Gremling

Face 1118Heather GrmI am 43 and the attached photo is during my last Remicade Infusion treatment. I started out on Humira, then later went to Enbrel and now I’ve been on Remicade for the past year. My A.S. “Surfaced” after a traumatic injury while deployed overseas in 2008. It took nearly two years for the doctors to discover my TRUE condition of A.S., finally allowing me to receive the treatment I desperately needed.  I am married, with two amazing children ages 9 and 11. I try to look at what I DO HAVE on my rough painful moments through each day, because that’s what keeps me going! Again, thank you Cookie. What you have done for so many of us, bringing us together is so truly remarkable and you have showed us that through each other, we can do and be just about as supportive as any doctor, nurse, husband, wife, friend, etc could ever be, and MORE!! You ROCK!! ❤ Heather
