In April ’09 I got 6 screws and 2 rods combining L4-S1. The day before surgery I worked fulltime – today I can manage only halftime. In December ’13 I am going to decide if I want a new surgery, because it hasn’t been done properly
Lots of people don’t understand that it is not only physical pain that comes with a surgery – they don’t understand the psychological change and consequenses for a AS-patient.
I’d like to help change that.
To all of you – keep up the good spirits, because you’re not alone. We’ll have to keep focus on the great things in life 🙂

Forte, you have courage ! Be careful not to injure yourself any more, AS doesn’t make you healthier as you move ahead.

I have read about A.S. and found out that it is not exactly my diagnosis. I have spondylolisthesis…
