Colusa County – (rice capital of the world)
Diagnosed with AS – 1988
Then diagnosed with MS – 2002
(what a wonderful combo, huh..)
California United States of America
My husband also has AS. He KNOWS that the one thing that has kept him going is his active lifestyle. He is 55, but we have 2 small children who want him to wrestle and play soccer. He no longer runs because the jarring motion is painful but he uses the elliptical, walks, and plays with the kids. He is a teacher so he is on his feet and moving all day. Don’t give up your activity! My husband has remicade infusions every 6 weeks. He hasn’t had side effects (yet) and is on a very low dose. Best of luck to you. Stay active as much as you can.
