A.S. Face 0382: William “Bill” McMillan
This is my late husband William McMillan. He was diagnosed in 2005 after many years of going to different doctors. It was quite a shock to say the least. He went on disability in 2007. Sadly, I lost him on November 6, 2008 at the young age of 55 due to his kidneys and liver shutting down. He went in the hospital on a Tuesday for what we thought was a urinary tract infection and he was gone by Thursday. It was very shocking to lose him so fast. I still miss him very much. We would have been married 32 years in December of 2008.
What helps me go on is that he is not in the pain he was in anymore. I have one son who is married with 3 children. The grandchildren bring me such joy.

Thanks Sheryl for bringing us Bill. You were lucky to have shared such a love. I think that love will live forever in your granchildren. The best tribute to the deceased, is to make the world a little better place for the living. You’ve done that today. I wonder if the Liver and Kidney were AS related?
Thank you Sheryl for sharing Bill’s story. I’m so sorry for your loss. ❤
((hugs))
I really miss my uncle Billy.Dave
As his older brother,I sometimes have survivors guilt, but as his loving wife points out he is out of pain. I know I will see him again but he will have the loving arms of his creator around him.
I am sorry for your loss. You are so right, the pain he was feeling is gone now. Sending healing and loving thoughts.
Dear Sheryl,
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. Thank you for allowing Bill to be among us. It means the world to me.
Sincerely Cookie
