A.S. Face 0374: Lisa Taylor

I’m 45, married with 3 kids and a grandson. Approx 4 or 5 years ago I kept telling my dr something was wrong, she kept telling me I was just getting older. After about 2 years of this she finally sent me to rheumatologist and that’s when I found out I have AS and FM. I was so angry at first, I was getting my first grandbaby and was scared I wouldn’t be able to play with him like I wanted. It is hard some times, but I refuse to let this get me down…..some days it does win but most days I do.

  1. “…kept telling her something was wrong…she kept telling me I was getting older…” Love that line! Witty attitude Lisa.

  2. Yeah, I’ve heard the “getting older” thing too……. Frustrating huh? I’m glad you finally got diagnosed. Keep being strong and enjoy your grandbaby. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your story Lisa. Welcome ❤

  3. Dear Lisa,
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. Just like you I focus on the days that I win… and the days I don’t I just hold on to the memory of the days I do.

    Sincerely Cookie
