A.S. Face 0247: Laura Henry

I was diagnosed about 6 months ago but have suffered for years without a diagnosis. I also have RA, B27 positive and Fibromyalgia. As of right now I am 49 years old, but my birthday is Feb 22 (next week) and I’ll be 50 – Oh no! LOL!
I work as a full-time Legal Assistant, and part-time at the YMCA. It’s very challenging to make it through the day with the constant pain and fatigue but I have no choice. Life must go on.
I would love to read other people’s stories and hopefully learn something from others who are in the same boat on how they face their challenges and have the willpower to make it through the day. I try to stay positive and keep moving forward one day at a time.
Sending healing hugs to all!

  5. I turned 50 last year, and I’m still waiting for my “fat old guys survival manual” to be delivered to me (Of course for you ladies, it’s titled “how to mature gracefully-you’re not getting older, you’re getting better”). I loved my thirties. I was diagnosed when I turned 40, so my forties _____!, I think good things will happen in my fifties. So just lean back, relax, and bask in all that wisdom.
