A.S. Face 0246: Louise Walding
After years of debilitating pain I was finally diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis 6 months ago. I haven’t quite come to terms with this yet and have only told close friends and family. Despite the pain (and when I can move my stiff and aching body) I continue to try and do all my favourite things, walking, running, mountain biking, skiing – I DON’T WANT THIS DISEASE!

Hi were you hbla27 positive? X
Hi Den, I don’t know I need to check my doctors! Will have a look at the weekend and let you know. What makes you ask? L
I know how you feel Louise. I don’t think I have come to terms with my situation either. Keep doing what you love to do and talk about how you feel. I’ll be thinking of you.
Thanks Penny – thinking of you too!
Dear Louise,
Thank you so much for being a part of my vision. I love that picture!
Sincerely Cookie

Dear Louise,
I am so glad. It has been such a healing experience for me and such an honor, THANK you.
Sincerely Cookie
Thanks for sharing Louise. Hang in there. Keep doing your face things.
Treatments are getting better all the time Louise, you will be ok. Keep up all your activities and think yourself lucky that you live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Welcome
Hang in there. Elizabeth face #40
I am glad you are continnuing to do the things you love. I’m convinced that stretching and exercicse (without overdoing it0 has helped keep my back from fusing any more. I’m now 50 (diagnosed at 22–though had symptoms for years b/4) and just got my black belt in karate. I’ desire to kick AS instead of the other way around.
Hi Louise ! Thanks for sharing. I love your profile picture.
